Good Streak, Bad Streak… April fools weekend in RFG tournament

One of my Favorite Verdes F.C players Richard “Cheetie” Jimenez got married this past saturday, apparently he celebrated by scoring 2 goals sunday in the game against Tex Mar Boys from Dangriga for a 4-0 win by Verdes, the other goals scored by Antony Gonzalez. This bring his goal tally up to 3 goals and is second place in the Goleadors table (first is a tie by several players including ex Verdes player Marlon Mesa, Deon Flowers, Lennox Castillo with 4 goals each).

 I’ve always admired “Cheetie’s” ability on the field, he’s virtually unstoppable when running towards the goal, and unlike other players he seldom makes mistakes. He is truly one of Verdes’ best players.

Having grown up in the same town as Cheetie, and knowing him and his brothers Orlando “Leech” Jimenez, and Danny Jimenez who also play for Verdes, I must dedicate this post to congratulate Cheetie on his wedding.
